The Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved no fewer than 27 projects in two days.
The projects which cuts across the three senatorial districts in the state captures the education, health, water and roads among others sectors of the state.

The Governor who highlighted the approval and their location updated the signings on the official twitter handle of the government.
Some of the projects according to the governor include ”remodelling of Dental Centre at General Hospital Ilorin to globally acceptable standard, establishment of Eye Clinic Complex at the General Hospital Ilorin, comprehensive renovation of Primary Healthcare, Amoyo in Ifelodun LGA and comprehensive renovation of Primary Healthcare, Tumbuyan in Baruten local government.
‘Others are ”Construction of new blocks of classrooms for St. Luke Anglican Primary School, Onila in Irepodun local Government, Construction of new blocks of classrooms for Nomadic LGEA Primary School, Agindigbi in Irepodun Local Government Area of the state after refunding the total cost spent on the Primary School contributed by the women of the community and renovation of Gboke Primary School in Patigi LGA to provide an enabling environment for teaching and learning.
There is also ”construction of motorized borehole in Onila Community in Irepodun Local Government Area, purchase of a Medical Oxygen piping system for the Intensive Care Unit of General Hospital Ilorin and the procurement of additional equipments for the public health facility to improve healthcare delivery.
Construction of borehole in Agidingbi Community in Irepodun Local Government, renovation of Basic Healthcare, Shao in Moro LGA and construction of interlock pavement network at Agbooba interlink road as part of his administration’s urban renewal initiative.
Also listed were rehabilitation of Opeyemi Road, Sawmill Area, Ilorin to ease vehicular movement in the area and Construction of Ring road at Oke-Onigbin in Isin local government area of the and comprehensive renovation of Primary Healthcare, Banni-Ogidi in Ilorin West local government area among others in the state.
Meanwhile traditional rulers in Ile-Ire district of Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State have hailed Governor AbdulRazaq for approving the construction of bridges in the axis.
Olu of Owode Ofaro, Oba AbdulRaheem Babatunde and Onidera of Idera, Oba James Buremoh, in a joint statement on behalf of the communities, commended AbdulRazaq for approving the construction of Awere bridge in Owode Ofaro which collapsed a few years ago.
“We the traditional rulers and the entire people of Ile-Ire ward in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State express our profound gratitude to our God-given Governor His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the construction of the Awere bridge Owode Ofaro which was washed away by an unusual heavy rainfall of 2018
“This has come on the heel of Your Excellency’s approval and release of funds for the construction of Imu bridge in Idera which also suffered the same fate,” the monarchs said in the statement.
The statement also commended AbdulRazaq for his proposed rehabilitation of the Owode-Aafin-Ikosin-Idera-Alabe-Oreke road.
“We do immensely appreciate Your Excellency and as a people we will continue to be eternally grateful to you and support you in whatever way possible,” the statement added.
