Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, on Tuesday forcefully took away three sisters at Eteh-Okofi community in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
A member of the victims’ family, who preferred anonymity, said the gunmen, who came through the bush with sophisticated weapons, invaded the community and abducted the victims at 12:43 am.

He said they went straight to the bedroom where the three sisters were sleeping and abducted them at gunpoint.
“When one of their brothers heard strange movements in the compound, close to the sisters’ room, he decided to open the door to find out what was happening, but by then, the gunmen had already held them hostage and started shooting into the air to scare away members of the family,” he said.
Another family member said contact had been established with the kidnappers and they were demanding N100million as ransom.
The chairman of Kogi Local Government Area, Alhaji Isah Abdulkarim, confirmed the incident but said he was yet to get its details.
The spokesman of the Kogi State police command, ASP Williams Ayah was yet to respond to calls or a text message sent to his phone to confirm the incident.
