The Head of Uzairue Kingdom, Ogieneni of Uzairue, Etsako West Local Government of Edo State, Kadir Omogbai on Thursday crowned Chief Ibrahim Alegeh as the traditional ruler of Ikagbigbo community.
Ikabigbo community is one of the 21 communities in Uzairue kingdom. The stool became vacant following the death of Chief Zibiri Ogeyemhe, in August 2020.

Installing Chief Alegeh, the Ogeneni, said Ikagbigbo community has fulfilled the necessary requirements of the installation with the presence of four most senior citizens of the community.
“Today, I crown Chief Ibrahim Alegeh as the traditional ruler of Ikagbigbo community. He is now your king,” he said.
Chief Alegeh sought the support of his subjects to move the community forward.
“Today is a new dawn for Ikagbigbo community. We are going to start afresh in building a new community for ourselves and our children. We must support each other for us to succeed in building a new community.
“Therefore, you should support me to achieve my mission for the community. I thank the elders of the community who had been piloting the affairs of the community before my enthronement. I also want you to support me to succeed,” he said.
He assured them of being a listening king and justice for all in the community.
The president of Ikabgigbo Aloaye Union, Hassan Adaba, said he was happy with the unity of members of the community in choosing their king.
He called on members of the community to support the new king.
