One person has been abducted and two others injured in an attack by gunmen on Tuesday night in Ebbo community of Lapai local government area of Niger state.
The gunmen attacked the community around 10pm and shot two residents in sporadic gunfire.

Sule Isah, a salesboy for Abu Magaji, has been identified as the person kidnapped.
One of the two people injured has been discharged from hospital, and the second is still in hospital but is said to be responding to treatment.
Sources said the victim ran a phone dealership and was targeted when vigilantes had retired for the day after the end of the community market day when the attack occurred.
A witness said the gunmen arrived and went straight to the shop and began beating people with sticks.
The gunmen also whipped residents in the area and asked the to leave or be killed.
The dealership attacked is said to witness high patronage on the market day and had become a target for gunmen
