Thirty million Nigerians have benefited from the Nigeria State Health Investment Project in eight states, Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib, has said.
He said this in Abuja on Wednesday at closure of the NSHIP and Additional Financing (NSHIP/AF).

Represented by the Director, Community Health Service, Nneka Onwu, he said:” As part of the Federal Government’s effort to improve access to quality health care for Nigerians, NPHCDA commenced the pre-pilot of output-based financing in 2011 under the NSHIP using the experiences from Rwanda, Haiti, Cambodia, others in three LGAs; Fufore, Wamba and Ondo-East LGAs in Adamawa, Nasarawa and Ondo States respectively.”
