The Kano State Consumer Protection Council (KSCPC), on Monday, confiscated fake and expired drugs worth over N200 million.
The Managing Director of the council, Baffa Babba Danagundi, said the organisation made the seizure following a raid on a building where the drugs were stored and repackaged.

According to Danagundi, the KSCPC raided No. 37, Niger Street, after getting the information about the illegal activities carried out in the building.
He said some of the drugs confiscated had no NAFDAC Registration Number while some had expired but were repackaged to be released back into the market.
