The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, says Nigeria and Belgium are to sign a Bilateral Educational Agreement anytime soon.
Adamu said this in Abuja on Monday when the Belgian Ambassador to Nigeria, Onel Bertrand, paid him a courtesy call.

He said the agreement would drive all educational engagements, transactions and processes between the two countries.
He said Nigeria was interested in partnering with Belgium in areas such as degrading out-of-school children phenomenon, co-operation in technical education, development of Information and Communication Technology to drive teaching and learning at all levels of the educational system.
Earlier, Bertrand had told the minister that his country was ready to assist Nigeria in areas of high impact technology to support the country’s effort in developing ICT to drive the education sector.
