Local vigilantes have arrested three suspected informants at Dutsen Abba area of Zaria LGA of Kaduna State.
The suspects are Mu’azu Sani and Mubarak Adamu from Angwar Makada; Faisal, who resides at Angwar; and Malam Atiku of Dutsen Abba area.

It was gathered that the three arrested suspects had been handed over to the police at Saye for interrogation.
Daily Trust gathered that the three suspects were arrested in connection with the failed abduction of family members of an LGC member Abdul’azeez Sani on 4 February 2021.
One of the suspects, Mu’azu in a recorded video, confirmed that he took part in the abduction at his half-brother’s home who happened to be the councillor of the area as he begged for forgiveness.
The councillor, Abdul’azeez Sani confirmed the arrest of the suspects including his half-brother, adding that investigation had commenced.
It could be recalled that the wife of the councillor, Samira AAbdul’Azeez and another housewife, Halima Sani were abducted but the local vigilantes at Tirmi area of Igabi LGA repelled the kidnappers who fled the area.
Calls to State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige were unanswered as at the time of filing this report.
