The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has commiserated with Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Senator Aliyu Wamakko over the recent market fire incident and the death of Sultan Sa’ad’s younger brother, Abdulkadir Jeli Abubakar.
Abubakar was before his death, the Commissioner for Internal Affairs in the state.
The speaker also paid a similar visit to the Sultan, just as he condoled with the member representing Gwadabawa/Illela Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Balarabe Salame, whose house was raided by suspected armed robbers last week.
At Wamakko’s residence, Gbajabiamila prayed Allah to protect the people of the state and Nigerians against any calamity and evil.
He said the country was facing myriad of challenges, which though, were surmountable depending on the way they were handled.
According to him, Wamakko was a household name in the country but he was not much appreciated for what he has done for his state and the country.
“We pray Allah to grant you good health and wisdom so that we can continue to tap from your fountain of knowledge,” he said.
Responding, Wamakko thanked the speaker for the show of love, solidarity and brotherhood, saying he was leading the most stable house which was without turbulence.
