Former Super Eagles Striker, Odion Ighalo, has completed his move to Al-Shabab, a Saudi Arabian Pro League club, after ending his loan spell at Manchester United.
On Thursday, Ighalo joined the White Lion on a two-and-a-half-year deal as the Saudi side aim to consolidate their impressive start to the 2020/2021 season.
Al-Shabab are currently unbeaten in their last five league games and are currently at the top of the table having snagged 32 points from 16 games.
The former Watford forward is billed to wear the number 89 jersey for his club and may make his debut for Carlos Inarejos’ side when they battle Al Raed on Saturday.
Ighalo joined Machested United last year from Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua, and appeared poised for immediate success at the club.
But he fell down the pecking order in the Red Devils’ attacking options with Ole Gunnar Solskjær preferring the likes of Martial, Rashford and Cavani to the Nigerian.
Due to his lack of game time, the 31-year-old scored only five goals while on loan at Old Trafford.
