The use of the card had become imperative, following the launch of the expanded e-ticketing system by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in August 2020.
She further said the agency will launch a community bus scheme, First Mile and Last Mile (FMLM) Scheme, as a feeder system to transport services on the main transport corridors.
It will use the cowry card which will also be extended to other transport services including water and rail transportation next year.
