Osun: Court remands 3 for robbery

A Magistrate Court in Ile-Ife, Osun State, yesterday, remanded three men over alleged armed robbery.

The prosecutor, ASP Joseph Adebayo, told the court that the accused, Isah Lawal, 28, Moses Keffi, 38, and 43-year-old Odeyemi Oluwafemi, committed the offence on December 31, 2020 around 3am along the Osu/Ile-Ife Expressway.

Adebayo said that the accused armed themselves with guns and robbed one Seyinde Egbeyemi of his Toyota Previa car valued N1.370,000 and other victims of 180 cartons of frozen turkey valued N3.6 million, mobile phone and cash.

He said they also robbed Adunoye I. Ibrahim Azeez and Sanusi Yahaya of an IVECO truck. Magistrate A. A. Adebayo ordered for the remand of the accused till April 5.
