1,200 people gets N5,000 each in Kaduna

The Founder of Azumi Welfare Foundation (AWF), Architect Sani Abbas, has empowered 1,200 people with N5,000 each in Chikun Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.

Arc Abbas commenced the distribution of the money at Sabon Tasha, Kujama, Sabon Gari and Kakau wards.

Abbas said the flag off of the COVID-19 cash relief empowerment programme was to complement what the government was doing for its citizens.

The Chairman of Chikun LGA, Samaila Jafar Leeman, who flagged off the disbursement, called on the people to support the activities of the state government, urging them to shun tribalism, religious bigotry and embrace peace.

“Let us live in peace with one another and promote brotherliness”.
