The Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) in Ogun State has said 176 persons died and 990 sustained injuries in road accidents across the state in 2020.
TRACE spokesman, Babatunde Akinbiyi, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Monday.
Akinbiyi explained that a total of 852 road traffic crashes (minor-186, serious-567, fatal-99) were recorded.

He explained that, “During the period, 3,021 people were involved in the various accidents, out of which 990 persons (695 males, 295 females) sustained various degrees of injury.
