FCT: JAAN trains rice processors on parboiling techniques

The Japan International Agency Alumni Association of Nigeria (JAAN) has, in collaboration with the Japan International Agency (JICA), organised a three-day training workshop for rice processors on rice parboiling techniques in Karu, Nasarawa State.

Speaking at the occasion, the second vice president of JAAN, Hajiya Aishatu Baba Jakada, said the training was organised for women who are into rice business so they can be self- reliant and to tackle the unemployment caused by the COVID-19 in the country.
