The kano state sacked commissioner of works, Engr. Mu’azu Magaji has expressed worry over the increasing grudges between former Kano state governor Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, saying the feud  “is affecting the reputation and progress of the state.”

The former commissioner, who is now the Chairman of the NNPC-AKK Pipeline Projects Committee in Kano, also said if the two will reunite and drop their political differences “it will make Kano peaceful, progressive and maintain its reputation in the world.”

Magaji, in a series of Facebook posts alleged that “some top politicians in Kano are behind the lingering dispute between the duo just for their personal benefits.

He added that if Kwankwaso and Ganduje will understand the damages that their rift is causing in Kano, they would have resolved  their differences for the progress of the state.

“Now I begin to understand why some evils doeers don’t want H.E Governor Ganduje to reconcile with Kwankwaso. If there is no political crisis here and there in the state they won’t get anything since they are not well educated. They have no job than to be going to the governor circulating hypocrisies.

“The best for Kwankwaso and Ganduje now is to drop their political differences for their own sake and also for the progress of Kano. If they do this, then they respected themselves and protected their dignity as elders and also protected the good reputation of Kano state,” he said.

Recall that Mu’azu Magaji was an ally and loyalist to the Kwankwasiyya movement before he decamped to the Gandujiyya before to the 2019 general elections.

He was at the Kwankwaso’s Abuja residence on Sunday on a condolence visit over the death of Kwankwaso’s father, Alhaji Musa Sale Kwankwaso.
