Happy Armed Forces Remembrance Day: Letter to enemies of peace

Here goes a letter to those adamants who think Nigeria is an unshakeable stronghold, immune to arms they shoot, disharmony they plant, who forget that Nigeria survives on the blood and souls of her people and every war means agony for some household. I beg you in the name of  the one who is above all to stop any attack and let peace reign.

For the sake of those soldiers whose lives were cut short, and those that spend their remaining lives dead-alive tending to pain and trauma of war, Lay down your arms, so there will be no victim of war, so no one will bear the brutality of war.

Pity the barrack children, the war you bring take their fathers away from them and deny them the fatherhood they deserve.

SPONSOR AD

I call on you from local and international to have pity on the women; the mothers and wives of the soldiers you killed, the soldiers your violence and incivility will kill.

Even, exempt the leaders and commanders the reason to order and witness the death of their people, so they will live with less regret and sleep better at night.

I plead with every parent to nurture their wards right, every gospels and preacher to teach their followers in the way of peace, unity and dispelling extremism. I beseech the leader to lead well, let peace be the baseline of any policy you implement. The hate you give is the war you get, the war you bring, brings death and agony. Let our soldiers live.

May the fallen heroes rest in peace!

God bless Nigerian Armed Forces!

God bless Nigeria!
