An Ado-Ekiti Magistrate Court has remanded a 36-year-old man, Sunday Olayokun, at the correctional centre, in Ado-Ekiti for allegedly belonging to Eiye Secret Cult.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Johnson Okunade, told the court yesterday that Olayokun is reasonably suspected to have committed the offence of membership of Eiye Secret Cult.

According to him, the offence is punishable under Section 2 of secret cult abolition and prohibition Law 2017 within the Ado-Ekiti.
The prosecutor asked for a short adjournment pending the issuance of legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP.
Counsels to the defendant, J.O. Olajide and J.S. Balogun, represented the defendant in court.
The Magistrate, Bankole Oluwasanmi, ordered that the defendant be remanded at the correctional centre at Afao road and adjourned the matter until February 26, 2021, for further hearing.
