The first female National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Iyalode Alaba Lawson, on Sunday called on the federal government to immediately address the concerns of porous borders.
She spoke in Abeokuta, Ogun State at a media parley, as part of activities to mark her 70th birthday on January 18.

The entrepreneur also knocked the government over the border closure policies, saying the organised private sector was not carried along before the borders were shut.
She said, “Our neighbours can be very nasty, using our borders being porous, what are we doing to those porous borders?
“But now that the borders have reopened, we need to block the porosity of the borders,” she noted.
