A Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Banulaiye Oyetunji, has been described as a man who live for others and someone who is always ready to give to the needy and the society that made him.
Popularly called Comedian Oyetunji, his friends and well wishers, who thronged his Lagos residence to celebrate his years of impact in the comedy industry, said the inspiration to gather and celebrate one of them was to equally give to someone who has equally given to the people and the society where he belongs.
One of his friends, Shittu Emmanuel said: “Oyetunji’s rise to stardom is a product of hard work and God’s blessings.”
He said, yearly, they gather their friends to celebrate them in their areas of strength, where they have used their influence to impact the society positively.
“It is a yearly event, where we come together and show love among ourselves and give back to the society, from what we have been able to get from the same society.
“Oyetunji is a man that thinks so much about people before thinking about himself. He has been able to pay school fees and assist the downtrodden in the society,” he said.
