The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, on Wednesday reiterated commitment to ensuring that Katsina State is free from criminality.
Abubakar stated this while addressing newsmen at the Police headquarters in Katsina.

He said he was in Katsina to re-strategise with the police officers in the state on how to end abduction of school kids.
“Recently we have seen acts of banditry moving from the epicentre that we use to know and they are converging in Katsina and we have resolved not to allow that.
“We need to strategise with other stakeholders, the citizens of the state, our cooperative partners like the Miyetti Allah and other law enforcement agencies to ensure every nook and cranny of the state are properly manned,” he said.
