The decision to impose a second round of lock down by the government on impoverished citizens is more dangerous than the coronavirus pandemic.
Hungry, angry and fed up Nigerians, more especially the youths, are more worried about the virus of insecurity, academic stagnation, joblessness, hunger and poverty, than the coronavirus.

This ludicrous government decision will and is turning and making the youth vulnerable to extremist groups and kidnapping gangs.
Government should not just imitate European, Asian and American countries’ approach to COVID-19. It is going to be too tough for Nigerians.
I will suggest that government should allow students to go back to school, open the society but impose and enforce COVID-19 protocols of wearing masks, washing of hands, using sanitizers and maintaining social distance.
