It would be recalled that a PCR test performed on the governor last week Friday confirmed that he has been infected with COVID-19, which is supported by mild symptoms and fatigue typical of a mild case of COVID.
Though he had prior to the outcome of the test gone into self-isolation after one of his close aides tested positive on Thursday.
While the Commissioner made known that the governor is responding to treatment and improving, he expressed optimism that he would soon be free of the virus and fully back on the beat to steer the ship of Lagos State.
“Our thoughts, prayers and well-wishes are with our Governor at this time.
“We wish him full recovery soonest,” he prayed while he reassured Lagos residents of the state government’s continued dedication to the fight against COVID-19.
He also appealed to Lagosians to remain vigilant and compliant to avoid COVID-19 infection.
