Kano United Newspaper/Magazine Distributor Association, KUNMDA, has hailed the emergence of the chairman of Media Trust, Malam Kabiru Yusuf, as the elected president of Newspaper Proprietors of Nigeria, NPAN.
Malam Kabiru Yusuf was on Tuesday 8th November, 2020 elected as the new president of NPAN after an election that was conducted at the association’s secretariat in Maryland, Lagos.
The association in a congratulatory message signed by it’s chairman, Sani Abdullahi and Secretary, Abdullahi Umar said Kabiru Yusuf is a well deserved personality to lead the association.
“The above newspaper association is congratulating you for your emergence as NPAN president. We vendors in Kano have the belief that we are the most beneficiaries of your new office,” the letter said.
They further prayed for God to help and guide the newly elected president to have a successful and productive tenure in office.
“We pray for God to help and guide you through out your tenure. Long life to NPAN, long life to Daily Trust and long life to vendors. Thank you”.
