The former Senate leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba has said that his main wish now is that when he dies, he should be buried beside the grave of his wife.
Ndoma-Egba expressed this wish few hours ago when the body of his late wife, Amaka, was laid to rest in Ikom, Cross River State.

Ndoma-Egba who described the late wife as a builder of human beings also said that he would continue to celebrate her as a strong woman which she was.
“We would celebrate her. It is not the quantity of life but the life in our soul. I want to be buried close to my wife when I die”.
Dignitaries from all walks of life were present in Ikom during the funeral obsequies.
Amaka died about a month ago in the Akure-Benin road on her way to an event.
She was 54 years old and got married to Victor when Ndoma-Egba was a commissioner in the state.
In a sermon conducted by one of the officiating priests who is the Bishop of Ogoja Diocese, Rev. Fr. Dr. Donatus Akpan, said, “No one can escape death. Some would say why wouldn’t she had live longer than she died.
Deputy Governor, Prof. Ivara Esu stated that God has a time for all mortals adding that even if Amaka would not have gone for the trip maybe she would have still died, especially if the timetable which God set out for her had reached.
