Use ICT to address youth unemployment – Emir of Zazzau

The Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has urged the government at all levels to use Information Communication Technology (ICT) to bridge the unemployment gap among the youth.

He spoke at a workshop on educational information technology implementation plan in Kaduna State, organised by the Kaduna ICT Hub.

The emir said: “I am delighted to see young men and women developing in the areas of ICT which will, in turn, inform job creation. The major cause of youth unemployment is lack of employment skills which it is hoped that ICT will bridge that gap.”

He enjoined the youth to continue to develop themselves to become employers of labour.
