Katagum said it is important to emphasise the role of technology, which has mitigated the devastating effect of the pandemic on businesses, especially MSMEs, which are dominated by women.

“It is on record that the pandemic has affected all spheres of businesses, be it marketing, services, public relations, security, which has propelled their continued existing/operations by going digital.”

The National President, AWEP Nigeria Chapter, Mrs Angela Ajala, stressed the role and importance of technology in business, adding that it is obvious to everyone that technology drives growth, gives speed and improves operations.
