The police in Osun State on Monday arraigned two staff members of the state High Court, Adedoyin Adebowale and Sulaiman Tajudeen, before a magistrates’ court in Osogbo over theft.
The accused were said to have committed the offence on November 20, 2020 at the High Court premises in Osogbo.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Adeoye Kayode, told the court that the defendants conspired and stole six packs of typing sheets valued at N30,000, property of Osun State Judicary.
Kayode noted that the offence contravened Sections 516 and 383 and was punishable under Section 390(9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol ll Law of Osun State 2002.
The accused pleaded not guilty and their counsel, Taiwo Awokunle, sought their bail.
The magistrate, Mrs. Adijat Oloyade, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000, with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to January 7, 2021.
