IGP promotes 16 officers killed during #EndSARS protests

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Monday announced posthumous promotion for 16 police officers killed during the EndSARS protests.

He said the promotion albeit, posthumously, of the officers who were killed by some ENDSARS protesters, was a symbolic gesture in recognition of the ultimate price they paid in the service of the nation.

Adamu also approved promotion for 82,779 junior police officers to their next ranks.
