‘Information hoarding gives room for fake news’

Chief Executive Officer, PRNigeria, Yushau Shuaib, says hoarding of information gives room for fake news.

He said this in Abuja on Wednesday during a public presentation of PRNigeria’s findings on the 101 fake news items peddled during the #EndSARS protests in the country.

He said PRNigeria had worked on 81 out of 101 fake news identified since the end SARS protests, saying its comprehensive report would be published in January.
