A woman, yet to be identified, died when a Toyota bus with registration number LSD 549 XX crashed into the bush at Iwaraja Junction on the Ilesa-Akure expressway.
Witnesses told Daily Trust that the driver appeared to have lost control of the bus, which swerved off the road and crashed into a bush off the road.

It was further gathered that among the six persons in the bus, three men and three women, the woman died while the five others sustained injuries.
A witness, who gave the name of the driver of the bus as Olagbemi Felix, said the accident was due to tyre burst.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Sector Command, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, confirmed the incident.
She said the injured passengers were taken to Wesley Hospital, Ilesa for treatment, while the remains of the woman were deposited in the mortuary of the hospital.
