A group of concerned elders have called on all stakeholders in the Nigeria project to put hands on deck to safeguard the unity and corporate existence of the country, saying the county is better together than apart.
After a meeting in Abuja at the weekend, the chairman of the group, Alhaji Maigida Musa Abdu, in a statement on Monday, noted that although restructuring is possible and normal, it does not mean the same as breakup of the country.

“We agreed that restructuring is a constitutional matter and the National Assembly should hasten the process for the actualization of the demands of the people,” the statement said.
Commenting on the EndSARS protest, the elders said the negative results of the uncontrolled mob action had portrayed the legitimate protest in bad light.
