Gov Sule urges youths to shun protests

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has called on youths in the state to shun the ongoing #ENDSARS protest.

He made the call at the Government House, Lafia, saying that the protest had taken a new dimension, resulting in the loss of lives, as well as the destruction of property.

While appealing to the general public to exercise restraint, the governor urged the youths in particular, to shun the protest because some unpatriotic elements have hijacked it to maim, kill and destroy properties.

Governor Sule further called on the youths to remain calm and not to get involved in the breakdown of law and order, as according to him, government is already on top of the situation.

The governor warned that government will not hesitate to ensure full application of this law to deter people from committing or indulging in the heinous acts.
