FCT: One feared dead as hoodlums attack Gudu Market

At least, one person is feared dead after hoodlums allegedly attacked Gudu Market in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory and stabbed one trader on Thursday afternoon.

Daily Trust learnt that the market has been shut down and security deployed to the area to keep the peace.

Violence arising from the #EndSARS protests engulfed nearby neighbourhoods of Apo, Wumba and Waru, last Tuesday.

A source, who spoke to Daily Trust, said traders have deserted the ever-busy market located in the Gudu District of Abuja.

When contacted, the FCT police spokesperson, ASP Mariam Yusuf, said she would confirm and get back.
