“As we speak some thugs have blocked sensitive materials meant for many wards in the local government from reaching those wards.

“I can authoritatively tell you that the PDP has concluded arrangements to rig the election.

“The APC will reject the outcome of any election that failed due process,” he alleged.

Also, a former Speaker of Bauchi House of Assembly, Kawuwa Shehu Damina, said that the late arrival of election materials cast doubt on the credibility of the election process.

On his part, a chieftain of the PDP in Darazo, Nasiru Darazo debunked the allegations of plans to rig the election, saying, PDP from the state level has made proper arrangements for peaceful and transparent elections.

Meanwhile, there is tension in Misau over the alleged discovery of fake ballots paper.

A chieftain of APC Salau Abdu, of Kukadi Ward said the reason the stakeholders unanimously refused to allow the distribution of election was due to the discovery of fake ballots to rig the election.

Responding, a PDP agent at the distribution center, Yarima Mohammed denied the allegations, saying, “It is just mere propaganda of the opposition parties and grief of losing the election.
