#ENDSARS, #BringbackSARS protesters clash in Abuja

They blared music from their cars, danced and chanted slogans

There was pandemonium in Abuja on Saturday as some #EndSARS protesters clashed with another group known as #BringbackSARS along Kubwa expressway in Abuja.

The #ENDSARS protesters had stormed Kubwa-Zuba expressway in Abuja on Saturday morning, blocking the 10 lanes of highway around the NNPC junction of the satellite town.

Our correspondent reports that as the gridlock got cleared along the high way, some meters away from the NNPC junction in Kubwa turned to a battleground with protesters confronting the other party of the youths.

It was gathered that the protesters on both sides of the divide were seen holding planks, stones, and other dangerous weapons.

Our Correspondent reports that each of the party was pursuing one another along the inner street, which leads to the junction, amid fear by the stranded residents, and passersby.

The police, on the other hand, remain helplessly on the main way, as the confrontation was going on around 6 pm when this story was first filed.

Youths identifying as#BringbackSARS, had descended on the #ENDSARS protesters a few minutes before 5 pm, holding sticks and other arms that saw the protesting youths taking to their heels.

Protesting youths ran into town through the NNPC junction.

Hundreds of young protesters had earlier passed through Gado Nasko Way, a main road within the town at around 9 am.

They converged on the expressway and blocked it with cars.

They blared music from their cars, danced and chanted slogans.
