Unknown gunmen have killed a lecturer of Federal University of Birnin Kebbi after the assailants went on a shooting spree, Daily Trust gathered.
The late lecturer, Abdullahi Abubakar Dakingari, was killed in Abuja where went to see his ailing father, who is on admission in one of the hospitals in the nation’s capital.
The deceased, was said to have been killed at Life Camp Quarters in the FCT around 10:30 pm on Wednesday.
Daily Trust learnt the deceased got trapped during a shooting spree at Life Camp quarters.
An uncle to the deceased, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari, who confirmed the death of the deceased, said, the 38 year old late Dakingari, left behind a wife and a child.
The late Dakingari, had since been buried according to Islamic rites in his hometown, Dakingari.
