The Nigerian Army has arrested Kumaor Fachii, alias Commandant, who was the deputy to the late Terwase Akwaza popularly known as Gana.
The suspect was paraded by the Commander of 4th Special Forces, Doma Local Government of Nasarawa State, Major General Ali Gadzama Mounde in Doma.

Mounde said Fachii was arrested in his girlfriend’s house in Agbi village, Katsina-Ala local government area of Benue State.
Addressing the press, he said, “I invited you here 36 days ago when we paraded Terwase Akwaza aka Gana. I said that some of his armed men have been arrested while some of them are on the run and we are in pursuit of them.
“We have arrested Gana’s deputy commander, this is Kumour Fachii, alias commandant, the second in command of Gana, that has inherited his magic”
“I parade him for you to see that we would continue doing our work until they either denounce crime or we raid them.
“He is the 76th person that we have arrested apart from Gana, while four have died,” he said.
According him, items recovered from the suspect includes arms and ammunition, three locally made rocket launchers, military uniforms, charms among others.
General Mounde said the military special forces are working towards arresting other 400 Gana’s gangmembers spread across Benue State and beyond.
The paraded suspect confessed, ” I have being a member of Gana’s group, but I am not his deputy.
“I was a commercial cycle operator before I joined Gana’s gang in 2018. I have abducted many people.
“The late Gana handed over the group to his own brother called Azonto, who is still at large in the bush” he said
Gana was killed last month in Benue State.
