Four bodies have been recovered from the rubble of a building that collapsed on Sunday in Lagos.
The building was at 60, Odo Street, Obalende, Eti-Osa LCDA in Lagos.
The bodies were handed over to the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit (SEHMU) at the incident scene.
An adult male who laid unconscious on the road was sighted after eight injured people have been taken to the hospital
Eight others, all male, have been recovered alive by emergency responders.
They were tended and transferred to Lagos Island General Hospital.
The rescued patient has been attended by the LASEMA Paramedics Team, and is being ferried to the Lagos Island General Hospital for further medical attention.
With this, the number of patients taken to the hospital is nine.
Another male who was sighted after the eight was taken to the hospital was attended to at the scene of the incident.
The three-storey building which collapsed Sunday evening was said to be under construction.
The cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained.
Lagos state emergency management agency (LASEMA) and other responders are working at the site.
