How two missing sisters in Edo were found in Asaba

The joy of  Izedonmwen family in Benin City, Edo State knows no bounds following the discovery of their two missing  daughters, Adesuwa and Ebighare Izedonmwen.

The duo, who were declared missing after leaving home on October 1, 2020, were found in Asaba,  Delta state on October 4 by the Nigeria Police during an investigation.

Adesuwa, a makeup artist, was said to have received a call in the evening on Oct 1 by an unidentified person to come and render a home service.

Her elder sister  Ebighare accompanied her to the place but they never returned home while phone calls put across to them were not answered.

Following their disappearance, the head of the family, Mr Henry Izedonmwen reported the disappearance to the police.

It was learnt that the police during investigations tracked their phones to Delta state where they were found at an undisclosed location.

A cousin of the victim, Baron Mike,  confirmed  that they were rescued by the police in Asaba.

“But they are still unconscious and are unable to talk but the good news is that they are both alive.”

The police spokesperson in Edo state could not be reached as calls placed to his phone were not answered.
