Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has ruled out the notion of returning to All Progressives Congress.
He met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday at State House.
Obaseki won the governorship of Edo state last Saturday on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party against the APC’s Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
Ize-Iyamu became the candidate of the APC after Obaseki was disqualified from standing as governorship candidate.
There have been speculations he might return to the party after winning the polls, but he insisted to journalists at State House that returning to APC would be “immoral”.
