The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has gotten the International Standard Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certificate by its external auditor, Bureau Veritas, an international certification body.
Mrs. Toki Mabogunje, the Chamber President who spoke at the official presentation of the certificate made known that LCCI is the first Chamber of Commerce in West Africa and the second in Sub-Saharan Africa to be ISO Certified.

Founded in 1888, LCCI is the premier Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria and the foremost private sector group with over 2,000 corporate members.
It accounts for an estimated 60% of industrial output, 65% of general commerce and 75% of financial services in the country.
According to Mabogunje, the journey in the quest for the ISO 9001:2015 certification began in September 2018, under the leadership of the then President, Mr. Babatunde Ruwase (FCA), who approved its commencement.
