Armed men stab one to death as three escape attack

Unknown armed men have killed a 25-year-old man, Francis Gyang, in Wereng village of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Daily Trust Saturday learnt that the incident happened Wednesday night when the victim was coming back from a neaby Kuru community in company of his friends.

Gyang was said to have been trailed by the armed men numbering 10 and stabbed to death while riding slowly on his bicycle while the other three  friends were trekking behind him.

Spokesman of the Plateau Police Command, Ubah Ogaba, who confirmed the incident, said investigations have commenced with a view to apprehending those behind the crime.
