Suspected Gunmen killed an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC MBulus Sanda, after abducting him from his residence at Mararaba-Rido, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The NSCDC Commandant in the state Babangida Dutsinma, confirmed the incident on Tuesday in a statement issued by its public relations officer Orndiir Terzungwe in Kaduna.

The commandant said the deceased was abducted at Mararaba-Rido even though he didn’t mentioned the date the abduction was made.
“His last location was Kaduna-North Division. He even received an award a day before his abduction and eventual death,” he said.
Dutsinma said the officer joined the corps in 2010 and served in different locations, adding that he was dedicated to his duty in an exemplary manner.
The commandant commiserated with the family of the deceased and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
He also urged members of the public to support the activities of security agencies in the state to ensure the safety of lives and property.
