Armed robbers, on Wednesday, broke into the Ikeja home of the late Moshood Kasimawo Abiola and subjected the family to torture and harassment and succeeded in escaping with cash and valuables.
It was learnt that the robbers broke into the house around 4 am through one of the rooms and allegedly carted away jewelry.
This robbery attack on the family of the late politician is quite unfortunate.
It shows the high level of insecurity in the land. Our security agencies, especially the police, must wake up to their responsibility of providing security for lives and property.
