She added that, as many companies are trying to get through the recent economic downturn, Miniso partnered with a Nigerian e-commerce start-up; under ‘Your Daily Store’ Online (YDS) package, to open its first official online store in the world.

She further revealed that this online store began operation in late March 2020 just before the lockdown started.

“Many businesses such as Miniso are beginning to find ways to pivot around the opportunities created by COVID-19 by providing their customers with easier and better ways to shop with a variety of choices,” said Mrs Surayyah.
