The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) has cut its registration fee by 47 percent in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
President of REDAN, Alhaji Aliyu Oroji Wammako, who disclosed this in Abuja, also expressed its readiness to collaborate with critical stakeholders to increase the nation’s housing stock while cushioning the economic impact of COVID-19.
“Instead of the N350,000 subscription fees for new members, a special concession of N200,000 has been approved. This amount can be paid as lump sum or in three installments within three months, while membership certificate will be issued after full payment. The full payment of N350,000 will be reverted from January 2021,” Wammako said.
He also said the 6th National Executive Council of the association, also reduced fees for old members.
“Old members who have arrears of annual subscription of upward of two years have been accorded forbearance and are to pay current annual subscription of 100,000 to become financial members.”
He said young graduates, professionals, students, interns and others that want to register with REDAN are to pay N50,000 in two installments within three months, under the probationary membership status.a
