The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has taken over assets of Northrich Technologies Company Limited for defaulting in repaying N500 million debt.
The technology firm Northrich Technologies Limited is promoted by Alhaji Mukhtar Shinkafi, and Alhaji Ahmad Shinkafi, among others.
A statement by AMCON said, Hon. Justice A.I. Chikere of the Federal High Court, presiding over the suit between AMCON and Northrich Tech ordered AMCON, and its appointed law firm, Mildred & Patriarch Attorneys, to take over a property in Gusau in Zamfara state and another in Sokoto State as well as all the equipment at the facility.
The court also granted an order freezing accounts of the firm and its promoters. AMCON on Wednesday said it has complied with the court order.
