Five people have been killed and another five injured between Tuesday and Wednesday following fresh attack and reprisal between the Atyab and Fulani communities in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Two persons had earlier been killed and seven houses burnt in Unguwan Gankon village in Gora ward of Zangon Kataf on Tuesday night, according to the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU).

A few hours later, Daily Trust gathered that suspected youths had raided Fulani settlements in Tukabe, Ikulu Chiefdom of Zangon Kataf and killed three people.
Attempts to reach the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige for confirmation were unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls to his phone.
