Kaduna district head tests positive for COVID-19

District Head of Kufana District in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr Titus Dauda, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Daily Trust gathered that the district head had been having a fever for over a week before he was taken to hospital for treatment.

In a statement personally issued by the district head on Saturday, he said his COVID-19 result has returned positive.

The statement reads: “For over a week I have been having fever and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

“I decided to be tested for COVID-19. The result came out on Saturday 15/8/20 and I was found to be positive.

“I am currently at the government isolation centre, receiving treatment and in good condition. I urge you all to put me in your prayers and all those affected.”
